Diploma in Interior & Furniture Technology (DIFT)

Course Duration : 3 year/6 sem (Eligibility : 10th/ Equivalent).

Interior Designing involves a collection of multi assignments that engage with organizing and decorating the Interior structure into a useful environment for the array of human activities. An interior designer is an important person who executes such task. Interior design is a comprehensive job that incorporates concepts and design Development This course provides industry oriented knowledge methodology with technical under Standing and professional skills.

The 3 year Diploma “Interior & Furniture Technology” course is developed and Recognized by the Govt.University approved by UGC, AIU & DEB Under Minister of HRD Govt of India.

Course Module

YEAR-I

The First Module offers basic modules of learning to provide an Applied Mathematic &Physics Engineering Chemistry, Computer fundamental with communication and soft skills are sharpened throughout the courses. With practical, Project & portfolio development.

The Second Module provides them to build up the core knowledge and skills on designing and it s various technicalities to enhance their ability with modules Engineering Graphics, like Work shop & appreciation with practical, Project & portfolio development.

YEAR-II

The Third Module follows the innovation and understanding of new creation to enhance their professional ability with modules like Introduction to Interior & Arch Design, Materials for Interior Design, History of Architecture & Interior Designer, Working Drawing & Graphic, Commercial & Residential Space Design with Practical, Project & portfolio development.

The Fourth Module Gives Plenty ideas about Behavior and the Physical Environment Interior Building System, Elements of Interior Design, Residential & Non-Residential Design This Module gives proper awareness to candidate regarding legal responsibilities of all interior Designer.

YEAR-III

The Fifth Module The student get to know about the advance services required for the interior designer Of the building it includes elements & history of furniture design and decoration, interior furnishing and Lighting, landscape design, Professional Practices for interior designers with proper knowledge of costing And estimation. It is a final year so most of the candidates must be absorbed by different eminent designer ‘firm.

The Sixth Module which is also a final years students will be undergoing with professional projects with best practices in the area of design and technical aspect of manufacturing processes in Building Materials & production planning & control, product analysis, quality control and CAD/CAM, with Practical, Project & portfolio development.

The students will be prepared for internship and model work shop with the analysis of Development and project report
