Textile designing is a creative field that includes fashion design, carpet manufacturing and any other cloth-related field. Textile design fulfills a variety of purposes in our lives. For example, our clothing, carpets, drapes, towels, and rugs are all a result of textile design.
The (lateral entry) admissions to the year 2nd of the Bachelor Degree “Textile Design” course is developed and recognized by the Govt.University approved By UGC, AIU & DEB Under Minister of HRD Govt of India.
The Third Module Follows the innovation and understanding of new creation to enhance their professional ability with modules like Fabric manufacturing, Garment Construction, knitting technology with Practical Project & appreciation with portfolio development.
The Fourth Module The students will be prepared for Industry internship with the analysis of best practices in the area of design and technical aspect of fabric manufacturing processes comprise production planning & control, product analysis, quality control and Computer aided design, Structure and properties of fibers, woven fabric structure with Practical Project & appreciation with portfolio development.
The Fifth Module Provides them to build up the core knowledge and skills on designing and it is various technicalities to enhance their ability with modules like Textile Chemical Processing.non woven technology, CAD/CAM Development are sharpened throughout the Courses.
The Sixth Module Provides them to build up the core knowledge and skills on designing and it is various technicalities to enhance their ability with modules like home textile and furnishing, Apparel marketing & Merchandising, Process and Quality Control in yarn and fabric manufacture, Garment technology with Practical Project & appreciation with portfolio development.
The knowledge of textile science enhances the students strength on the different types of fabrics-yarns used for the development of the fabric. Industrial visits are also planned to give the first feel of the textile industry to the students.
And undergo the industrial internship which provides them with the relevant work experience for their future career.
The students undergo the compulsory1 month market survey & 1 month internship to nourish themselves with the industrial working conditions
